Let’s look out for each other.

In Washington and Harrisburg, politicians are debating our right to allow the extraction of safe, clean natural gas from the land we own. Sadly too often polices and discussions aren’t connected to real life. Few of them will ever visit, and none of them know our names or story.

Here’s who we are and what we believe.

We love this place because it’s our home. It’s where we raise our kids, love on grandkids, and look out for neighbors. There’s no better place in Pennsylvania or the world. That’s a fact.

We’ve called our group “Neighborhood Watch,” because taking care of each other is our job—no one else’s. We want the places we shop, learn, work, and worship to be around for a long time, so we’re working hard to protect every bit of value in our homes and farms.

Working together, we’ve got the power to make sure good roads, clean air and water, and reliable energy, is here and available for the next generation.

This is our home. Let’s keep it safe.

Keep Up With Us!

Q. What's all the talk about natural gas?

A. There’s a lot of discussion about natural gas because it’s vital to our energy supply—especially here in Pennsylvania. Natural gas is fossil fuel formed deep underground from the remains of ancient marine organisms. Over time, heat and pressure transformed these materials into a cleaner burning energy source. Natural gas supplies over one-half of the energy residential and commercial customers consume.

Q. How does natural gas affect me and my family?

A. Believe it or not, natural gas plays a pretty big role in daily life.  In addition to cooking, natural gas users heat homes, generate electricity, fuels vehicles, power HVAC systems and a host of other uses. Increasingly, natural gas generates electricity for power plants and vehicle fuel—including firetrucks and ambulances.

Q. What's the impact of natural gas on our environment?

A. Here’s some good news! Natural gas results in fewer emissions of nearly all types of air pollutants and carbon dioxide (CO2) than burning coal or petroleum products. It’s a clean, cost-effective bridge as the world transitions from coal and oil to renewable energy.

Q. Does natural gas help my community?

A. The short answer is, yes! From heating to cooking and countless other ways, natural gas keeps energy costs affordable wherever it’s available. It’s safer, more affordable, and friendlier to the environment than other sources of energy.

Q. What's happening at Beaver Run Reservoir?

A. The Beaver Run Reservoir supplies clean drinking water to communities in Indiana County and surrounding areas. The reservoir’s management team has been diligent and strategic in protecting the 1,200 acre, 30 billion gallon water supply. While national activist organizations have targeted the project with misleading and divisive rhetoric, natural gas companies—along with state and federal regulatory agencies—continue to protect the area from contamination or any disruption of this vital community resource.
